What can I expect?

On the day of your session, we will complete some basic paperwork, confirm the style, backgrounds and combinations you would like and then head into our studio. Please arrive dressed and ready for your photo session.

At the time of your session, we will also make another appointment, usually the following week, where you will be able to view 5-10 edited images (with the option to view more images if you wish) but you are under no obligation to purchase all the images.

Portrait collections start from $499, plus we can also place images on Canvas, Acrylic prints and Acrylic tiles, or create a collage that has all your favourite images combined.  Payment is not required until after you view and select your images and we have a variety of payment options available, including take-home layby & credit. This is a great way to have all the images you would like and pay them off comfortably over a period of up to 24 months.



What do I wear?

For a solid background family/children shoot, choose a colour scheme to go with, for example; shades of blue, purple or green, along with white, black or denim.  Another idea is shades of pink, red, or orange along with white, black or denim.  A simple colour theme of black and denim or white and denim is also quite popular.

For themed shoots, depending on age and clothing size of your children, we supply hats, costumes and props.  Some of these props can also be used on our solid black, background as well.  You are more than welcome to change outfits during your photo session.

How should we pose in the photos?

It is entirely up to you and your personality how you would like to pose. We are experienced with many different poses and can help you out too! Just let us know what you would like and we can help you achieve this in your session.

What backdrops can I choose from?

We have 2 main styles of backdrops in our studio.  Solid black, or brick wall.  We often set up a special backdrop for cake smashes and can do themed backdrops for special occasions like Christmas.
